2021 was a year of perseverance: many twists and turns, but above all, progress. With hopes to transition programming in person, we continued to imagine innovative and unique ways to connect with our community.  Despite the constraints, we are proud to share moments “beyond the screen” and reflect on the memories, new activations, and stories that made up our 2021:  Zoomed out.

With a great appreciation of the Applebaum family’s philanthropic past, third generation members, Rebecca Applebaum – Wyett and Molly Applebaum – Wyett, charged local organizations to think outside the box and put forward innovative and new ideas for funding through the newly relaunched Applebaum Family Compass Fund.

You can have the most advanced technology in the world, but without leadership ultimate success is not achievable.

As we all navigate this new normal, we are finding comfort and inspiration in the hard work of our partners to operate within new constraints, make more with less, and to create moments for the community to enjoy.
